The search begins months before a stem ever reaches our Central atelier. Each December, our sourcing team maps the next year’s calendar: peony season in Grasse (April-May), ranunculus from the Dutch auctions (February-March), cherry blossom from Wakayama (late March), and roses from the high-altitude farms of Kunming (year-round, with peak blooms in spring and autumn).<\/p>\n
We work with the same growers year after year. This is not a transactional relationship \u2014 it is built on trust, shared standards, and a mutual obsession with quality. When a Provence peony grower calls to say this year’s crop is exceptional, we adjust our orders upward. When a Wakayama orchard reports an early bloom, we move our sourcing window forward.<\/p>\n
